We have manufactured and delivered several electric bikes ordered by the «Come Back Alive» charitable foundation. The Positive Military model has been assisting our military across various frontline sectors for a long time. In this article, we explain why our e-bikes have become essential for the military and what interesting technical features they pack.
«Arrived quietly, left quietly»
This phrase has long since become a catchphrase among the military personnel using our equipment. Since ELEEK was the first in Ukraine to supply electric bikes to the defense forces on a regular basis, this expression stuck naturally and became the best description for this type of transport.
The main advantage of Positive Military is its silence. We designed the bike's drivetrain specifically for its operational environment:

The large front drive sprocket of the motor significantly reduces chain noise during movement.

At the same time, torque is not lost at all, as the driven sprocket on the rear wheel is also made larger. The bike maintains excellent low-end torque, easily overcoming steep inclines or deep mud.
Full-size Socket and Field Power
Modern warfare is a war of technology, where every device requires energy. That is why Positive Military serves not just as transportation, but also as a mobile power bank.
The bike is equipped with a full-size 220V socket featuring a nominal power of 500W and a pure sine wave. This allows users to safely plug in and recharge sensitive, low-power electronics (radios, night vision devices, batteries, drones, etc.) directly in the field. For added convenience, standard USB Type-C and Type-A ports are also integrated.
Maximum Simplicity and Compactness
The bike's design features absolutely nothing redundant that could break down under pressure or distract the rider:

The handlebars only feature a simple information display and a button to switch on the clearance lights and headlight.

The bike offers three riding modes (to optimize speed and range), as well as a full reverse gear, which is incredibly useful when needing to back out or turn around quickly in tight spots.
It is compact and exceptionally easy to handle compared to traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) motorcycles. There is no need to shift gears or manipulate a clutch — you just get on and ride. An important detail is that the bike features passenger footpegs. Although the Positive Military is structurally a single-seater, this feature allows taking a teammate along or quickly evacuating a wounded person in critical situations where time is of the essence.
Here is what a serviceman using the bike on the front line shares: «We don't need high speeds here; nobody is flying around at 100 km/h. The main thing is silence. When you move silently, you can actually hear a hostile "drone-zhdun" (hovering drone) flying or taking off nearby, giving you time to react and take cover under the trees or in the tree line. On a regular gas motorcycle, you wouldn't hear a single thing around you over the roar of the engine.»
