Back in 2009, the founder of ELEEK, Pavlo Rudakevych, developed and hand-built the first prototype of a space frame, which later became the foundation of the ELEEK Atom electric bike. Although it was only a frame at that stage and not a full-fledged bike, it already showcased thoughtful engineering, structural strength, and future development potential. This initial prototype underwent basic stress and load testing, marking the starting point for future models. This was the beginning of the ELEEK brand — born from a passion for engineering, inventiveness, and the desire to create a truly Ukrainian electric transport of the new generation.

In 2010, the first full-fledged space frames were manufactured, leading to the founding of E•KROSS — the predecessor of ELEEK. That year marked the true start of serial production and the development of the electric transport concept in Ukraine. The frame, designed by Pavlo Rudakevych and produced by a team of like-minded engineers, quickly gained popularity among hobbyists, engineers, and small manufacturers in Eastern Europe and beyond. It was praised for its strength, well-thought geometry, and adaptability to different types of electric drive systems. This marked the international recognition of Ukrainian engineering excellence.

Atom frame production

In 2012, serial production of the E•KROSS Atom and its variations began. These electric bikes quickly gained traction due to their durability, power, and original design. They became a breakthrough in the Ukrainian electric transport market and attracted users from abroad as well. Loved by both city commuters and adventure riders, the Atom performed exceptionally on both pavement and off-road. Thus, the first series of mass-produced electric bikes was born, laying the foundation for ELEEK's future growth.

In 2017, at the request of Delfast, a unique electric bike was built to set a Guinness World Record for the longest distance traveled on a single battery charge. The bike's frame was based on the ELEEK Atom and the project was implemented in cooperation with Evel. The result was astounding: the bike covered 367 km 37 m 36 cm without recharging, with a total ride time of 16 hours 34 minutes 7 seconds. This achievement demonstrated the reliability of the frame, efficiency of the electric drive, and high engineering quality of Ukrainian development — proving the ELEEK Atom's frame can withstand extreme conditions and long-distance challenges.

In 2019, Ukrainian and international patents were obtained, officially securing the engineering rights to the design. This was a significant milestone as the products were now sold under the ELEEK brand — a name now synonymous with quality, innovation, and reliability. The patented frame became the foundation for future modifications including the ELEEK Atom, Atom Fat, Atom Curier, Atom City, and Atom Military — continuing to earn the trust of users both in Ukraine and abroad.

2017: Delfast ordered the first batch of City-modified electric bikes, specially designed for courier delivery. The City modification was developed to meet the needs of long-distance deliveries, focusing on durability, comfortable riding posture, and extended range. This project not only laid the foundation for future models but also proved that Ukrainian e-bikes can effectively compete with traditional gasoline-powered solutions in business environments.

2020: ELEEK started a successful partnership with Cooker, a fast-growing food delivery company, which chose our Atom and Atom City models for daily urban logistics. These bikes proved to be extremely efficient for commercial use, combining high reliability, durability, and long range—crucial features for delivery services. This collaboration highlighted how ELEEK e-bikes are not only thrilling to ride but also work reliably and efficiently every day.
